About This Software VirtualHere allows you to use the XBox One Wireless Controller, steering wheels, microphone, headphones, flight sticks, PS3 controllers, bluetooth adapters, and many other USB devices directly on your Steam Link!Click here for FAQVirtualHere improves the compatibility of most gaming controllers because it transmits the actual USB signal between the Steam Link and the remote pc. The remote PC thinks the gaming controller is local to it, whereas really its plugged into your Steam Link. VirtualHere uses the Steam Link network connection as a USB cable and you can share up to 3 devices at a time with VirtualHere 7aa9394dea Title: VirtualHere For Steam LinkGenre: UtilitiesDeveloper:VirtualHere Pty. What is the point of having one if games can't even know if you have a controller connected!? VirtualHere doesn't even solve the problem, even after connecting a USB dongle to the steamlink (which mind you already has the ability to connect to the controller). The fact that VirtualHere exist (though doesn't work) is a testimate to how poorly thought out the steamlink is.. This review is based on trying to use this product with Rocksmith 2014I bought this to play Rocksmith in my Steam Link but the delay for the input is to big. I don't know if it is the software's fault or the Link specs but it doesn't work, even tweaking the game .INI file.I wouldn't recommend this for Rocksmith. I didn't test with other products so I don't know if it works.I just requested a refund.. Misleading and broken. Similar to other reviewers, my purchase followed the Xbox One controller + wireless Win 10 adapter reference in the description. The adapter was able to scan the first time, but never connect. Subsequent uses it could not even scan. Very disappointed, not worth the time to even try it.. Excellent piece of code, fully recommend.Trying to get Elite Dangerous with a hotas working over the Link was a fail, mainly because I though I already had VH (the Link has it built in).Bought a copy for the PC, immediate success.Yes the Link should have this fully operational from the beginning, but it doesn't. The Dev has written a program that overcomes this shortfall, so good job, have some of my money.. Creates .dll error when installed. Will not function.. Xbone wireless dongle worked but when my friends came over, we had so much controllers problem where multiple controller controlled same caracters. Uninstalled this **** and tadaa, we could play together! Tried to refund, not so successful.... dosent detect anaything Fixed BSOD in win7 with multiple xbox controlers: Some xbox controllers have identical serial numbers. This caused a BSOD in windows 7 (or earlier windows). this is now fixed. Updated client to 4.4.0: Updated the virtualhere client to 4.4.0 this has a few minor fixes. Updated client to 3.8.5: This improves general stability and fixes an osx kernel panic in the osx client. Updated virtualhere client to 3.9.6: Some users were reporting the client sometimes crashed immediately when starting, this build should fix this issue. Tested with a user already and they have confirmed it fixes it. Updated VirtualHere Client to 3.8.9: Fixes an issue where an in-use gaming device may prevent windows from shutting down quickly. Updated VirtualHere Client to 3.8.7: I managed to reproduce a BSOD when disconnecting an xbox one wireless controller, so this update should fix this. VirtualHere now available on Android: Anyone who owns VirtualHere for Steam Link automatically gets access to VirtualHere for Android for no extra cost.VirtualHere for Android provides the same functionality as the Steamlink version, but runs on Android and works together with the new Steam Link Android App.Just download VirtualHere from the Play Store https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.virtualhere.androidserverWhen installed, the Steam Link Android App will detect VirtualHere functionality and add the VirtualHere option to the Settings menu. Then it works just like before. Most Android devices have a better CPU than the Steam Link so performance should be pretty good!
